Furniture Shopping

The first weekend we were here we went furniture shopping. When we left the states all we had was one chair that we kept and our beds, we sold everything else. We have never bought all new furniture so this was an experience. First, it took all day and we only found our kitchen table and a couch. Our couch experience was fun. The people in the sofa place were very kind. The guy that ended up helping us was a Sikh pronounced "seek". Randy asked him if he would share with the kids why he wore a turban.  It was a neat way to connect with him and the kids were very intrigued. They have pointed out several Sikhs around London and always look to see if they are carrying their sword. We were successful in buying a couch and a kitchen table and chairs that day. However we won't get our couch until September, yes you heard me right September! We did receive our table and chairs already so we are excited about having something to sit on. The kids prayed for our salesman the next day for his salvation and another opportunity to talk to him. Love watching the love of Christ grow in our kids.
