Last Trip as Expats

We took one last trip in Europe as expats. We praise God that Colin recovered quickly and we were still able to do so. We flew to Geneva Switzerland and spent two days there. We walked around the beautiful city enjoying the parks and culture. Toured the Palais des Nations, European headquarters of the United Nations, it is the largest UN centre after New York and was really interesting and beautiful. The Parc des Bastions is a beautiful park and is the site of the famous reformation wall. The kids enjoyed playing chess on some giant chess boards there. Went to St. Pierre Cathedral and climbed to the top for beautiful views of the city. We saw the L'Horloge Fleurie, the iconic outdoor clock made of flowers. Then enjoyed walking around another park and had some fun treats. Watched the Jet d' Eau, which is a water jet that shoots a 140 meters high (459 feet) in the air on lake Geneva and our last night enjoyed a wonderful meal out in the garden of our quant hotel.

After Geneva we headed to Courmayeur Italy, a beautiful little city in the Aosta Valley in the Alps. We rented an apartment there for a week enjoying hiking, wonderful food, adventure parks, visiting Chamonix France a few times and Mont Blanc. It was a great end to a wonderful two years in England!

Adventure Park
We went twice during the week because the kids loved it so much.
They start out very simple and then get harder.
